Smt. Neera Arya was a brave and patriotic Indian woman who made a selfless sacrifice for the cause of India's independence. Born on March 5, 1902, she lived a life dedicated to the country's freedom and was an embodiment of courage and determination.


One of the defining moments of her life was when she made the ultimate sacrifice to protect Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Despite facing dire consequences, she allowed her breast to be cut off, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to the independence movement.


As India celebrates its 77th independence, it is important to acknowledge the sacrifices made by individuals like Smt. Neera Arya, who, despite being little known, played a crucial role in securing the freedom we enjoy today. These unsung heroes must be remembered and honored for their contributions to India's struggle for independence.
